Who we plan to serve
Our first priority is helping veterans—including veterans transitioning from homelessness—find a dependable place to live. We also plan to serve other veterans and adults age 55 and older who can live independently in a shared-home setting.
For referral and community partners
We welcome early conversations with VA social workers, veteran-serving nonprofits, hospitals, shelters, churches, and community organizations preparing future referrals.
Our mission
Founded by service-disabled U.S. Army veteran Dwayne Brown, Humble Abode Living LLC is being built to offer dependable, furnished housing with clear expectations and a respectful shared-home environment.
We understand that stability begins with the basics: a clean room, working utilities, internet access, household essentials, and a place where residents can focus on what comes next.
